4600 Clearwater Hills is a Spanish-style slump block home built in the 1960’s. This job was an opportunity to remodel the original dwelling. It started with removing all the interior walls, which allowed us to open the space and create a new flow. We gutted the existing floor plan and re-trussed the project to add an open beam-ceiling and raise all the bedroom ceilings to ten feet. We added groin arches and corner accent lighting to the dining room, hallways, and large foyer to create a sense of grandeur. The great room has large open beam-ceilings with a wagon wheel framing in the truss components to add some visual depth. The kitchen is a combination of custom cabinetry and an oversized French Oak table that gives the home a focal point for the family to congregate around. The bedrooms all enjoy their own bathrooms and oversized walk-in closets, which gives ample storage to accommodate any use. The master bedroom is adjoined by a stunning bathroom that has a freestanding tub and chrome water fillers that sits next to an expansive walk-in shower with the full spa package. The adjoining walk-in closet has a washer and dryer plus a hidden ironing board that was salvaged from the
original home. There are multiple walk-in closets and a secret room that is attached to the back of the bedroom. The home also has an attached en-suite that was a converted carport, which existed in the original home. The front yard has a lazy creek that pours from a boulder water feature, and it recirculates to the top of the driveway, which invites guests to a stunning remodel by Arcadia Land & Development.
7246 E Joshua Tree Lane was a project in the historical Sands North community of Scottsdale. This four bedroom, four bathroom contemporary remodel was spearheaded by the design firm Casatopia with Arcadia Land & Development being the executer of their design. The open line of communication between the owner/designer and the contractor allowed for a positive work dynamic to achieve these luxurious results. The space has a large open floor plan with tall ceilings and large windows to bring in lots of natural
light. Attention to detail was key with this space, the opulent materials and simplistic silhouettes allows the design to shine. Due to the historical designation of the community we had to be very conscientious about preserving the exterior. AL&D has the skill set required to operate in multiple styles and varying levels of finishes.
10552 N 51st Place was a job to create a backyard oasis for the client, it was a complete overhaul. The owner liked to entertain his clients and wanted a showcase space. We built a basketball ball court, a nine-hole putting green, an oversized pool with grand boulders and water slide, a sunken conversation pit with custom fireplace. We also add-
ed a two bedroom casita with a large game room and en-suite kitchen. We built a viewing terrace on the roof of the casita so the Owner could enjoy the view of Camelback mountain and the stunning Arizona sunsets. This project pulled out all the stops and really allowed AL&D to show off some diverse skill sets.
